Kaimanga Lodge Luxury homestay accommodation, offers a beautiful, and eco-friendly, place to stay during your visit to the wonderful Bay of Islands region of Northland, New Zealand. Benefiting from Northlands' mild weather climate, Kaimanga Lodge Bay of Islands Accommodation is located on six acres of sub tropical exotic and native trees and shrubs. Overlooking a spring-fed picturesque lake which is home to a wide range of native bird life, this tranquil and secluded location is just 5 mins from Kerikeri in the heart of the Bay of Islands, Northland. Our accommodation comprises a self contained cottage with its own lounge and kitchen, plus a private guest suite in the main house, complete with its own luxury spa-bath. We actively encourage responsibility for the environment by using eco-friendly products and techniques wherever possible. Our on-going program of planting native NZ trees, and encouraging a wide range of birds and insects is a central part of the Lodge grounds management. We welcome our guests who are encouraged to share our little piece of "Green Heaven", and to enjoy NZ nature at its finest. Visit the local Kauri forests to see magnificent ancient trees, then come and see our baby Kauri's, planted for future generations to enjoy. Listen to our Kiwi birds as you sit on your private deck, feed our rescued ducks and chickens. You really have found a mini paradise. Enjoy the peace and quiet of our beautiful tropical swimming pool which offers secluded bathing and relaxation. Set away from the main house for total privacy, the pool, surrounded by fabulous tropical plants, palms, and shrubs, is a great place to relax. If you have children and/or pets please do contact us to see if we can accommodate. We have 1 single and 1 double luxury blow up mattress and plenty of bedding and there is plenty of room for tents too. Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation is designed for couples who want privacy and quiet relaxation. Each of our guest suites has one queen sized bed. If you have children, please contact us to discuss what we can provide. The Lake View Suite and Fan Tail Cottage are non-smoking. Laundry and tumble-drying facilities are available in the lodge, guests can use these as required. All our B&B accommodation is private and secluded, but if you would like to spend a while with us, maybe chatting about the wonderful things you have seen in the area, you are most welcome to join us at the end of your day.
