Balgownie House, exclusive boutique accommodation located just outside of Bendigo, is nestled within the picturesque grounds of Balgownie Estate Winery and Vineyard. Classically restored to its former glory, the 80 year-old cottage consists of two contemporary retreats (or suites) of the highest standard. Here you can unwind and enjoy absolute relaxation in your self-contained contemporary accommodation, with separate lounge and dining, spacious bedroom and ensuite with spa. Retreat to the sanctuary of your private Balgownie House suite, wander down to the Cellar Door for a leisurely lunch and wine tasting or venture out to explore the wonderful architecture, galleries and museum which all reflect the prosperity of this former gold rush region. Should you want to stay in and soak up the ambience of the cottage and surrounds, gourmet platters and delicious BBQ packs are available from our Cellar Door so you can relax and enjoy a meal while you watch the sun set over the vineyard.
