Overview
Footer's Mansion is a AAA rated 4 star property located in the Golden Triangle of Victoria just 2 hours drive from Melbourne. This grand old mansion was renovated in late 2002 and offically opened by the Victorian Minister for Tourism, the Hon John Pandazopoulos. Rates include fully cooked breakfast for 2 persons or if the Lilac room is booked it is for 4 persons. The large bedrooms upstairs have open fireplaces. The maids quarters also has an open fireplace. The Lilac room upstairs is the family room and it sleeps 4 people. The other 3 rooms are doubles. The blue room upstairs can sleep an extra guest on a fold out bed. We have a separate Lounge room with Video/TV and satellite TV. Footers is also open for afternoon Devonshire tea by appointment. The Mansion is for the exclusive use of the guests. The manager lives on site in a separate residence. Enjoy the beautiful gardens that Footers has to offer. Dunolly is a beautiful countryside retreat with an abundance of unspoiled relics from the gold rush era and many National Trust classified buildings, including St John's Anglican Church (1869), the Old Post & Telegraph Office (1868) and the London Chartered Bank (1862).
